Google Goggles is a “visual search application” for Android phones. Snap a picture with your phone and Google turns it into a search. The first video here is the “official” video from Google, but the second one should be of interest to museums. Here the Google rep demonstrates how you might search for Kandinsky’s Farbstudie Quadrate.
